About Lauren
Everything in our body is connected and I believe a healthy body starts with a healthy and well functioning mouth.

Lauren Koroknay RDH, O.M.T.
I am a dental hygienist and myofunctional therapist. My path into myofunctional therapy was inspired by my own inexplicable health challenges and deepened by my mentor Dr. Michael Czubiak, who guided and supported my curiosities and quest for solutions to patients dental problems.
After getting into private practice I started to notice patterns with my patients that I wasn't able to address with conventional dental hygiene treatments. I grew frustrated by putting bandaids on patients problems, that I suspected, had a larger underlying cause. In my search to deepen my knowledge and find answers, I began researching myofunctional therapy. The pieces of the puzzle have started to fall into place ever since.
Our health lies in our everyday lives and habits, not in our doctors offices. Everything in our body is connected and I believe a healthy body starts with a healthy and well functioning mouth.
